It’s that time of year again. Millions of people all over the world will be graduating from various programs, whether it be preschool, primary school, high school, or university.
I’m a high school teacher so I’m required to attend all school functions, including this year’s commencement ceremony. While it makes me proud to see the one hundred plus students walk the stage to receive their diplomas, this is also an opportunity for me to dress up in that leopard dress I bought for work, which was too tight to wear. 🙂
The focal point of the outfit that I’ve put together in this post is definitely the shoes, which are from gojane.com or cicihot.com. I mean, have you seen them? I wrote a blog post about them a few days ago because they are a dupe for the Valentino Chevron 1973 Print Rockstud Pumps.
I found the perfect bright yellow plunge front peplum midi dress from axparis.com, which matches the yellow in the rainbow beauties almost exactly. Try this yellow dress, if you happen to detest the peplum style.
To tone the outfit down a bit, I chose a silver abstract clutch from shoedazzle.com, and a silver collar necklace and bangle from baublebar.com. The studs on the heels are silver so they all complement each other.
Lastly, I chose a pink nail polish from OPI which matches the shade of pink in the shoe to finish the outfit off. Of course you can also add a few rings and some earrings if you wish. See more yellow/peplum dresses in the widgets below.
