The Lita Boot is without a doubt one of Jeffrey Campbell’s most popular shoe.
This much duplicated shoe, characterized by a 2″ platform square ‘mouth’ and a chunky 5″ heel has been a favorite among bloggers for a long time. At nastygal.com, they are available in Glow in the dark, Oil Slick, Brown Suede, Black, Ivory Crotchet, Black Steel Cap, and Taupe Suede (photoed above)
If there’s ever an online shop that’s going to carry the most daring variations of a shoe, it’s going to be karmaloop.com. They have the basic colors (photoed below): black, black w/ black wood heel, black wash with silver cap, suede taupe, and oil slick. They also have black leather and slime, glow in the dark (white), and black daisy with orange glow.
The black leather and green slime and green slime takes us back to when “Slime Time Live” was a hit show on Nickelodeon. #90sbaby The crazy eye print reminds me of Spongebob Squarepants, the unicorn pair is, well, perfect for the unicorns, the black and silver is perfect for the biker chick, and the heel on the legendary lira can easily be used as a deadly weapon.
I love all the colors, but my favorite is the oil slick because rarely are shoes every made in this ‘color.’ Jeffrey Campbell makes some of the most unique shoes at the $100 to $200 price point and that’s why it’s one of my favorite shoe brands.
