New In | Olive Green Chunky Heels

posted on: April 24, 2017

I’m so happy that chunky heels are trendy right now.

I’m slightly embarrassed that at 25 years old, I cannot stand up in a pair of stilettos for more than an hour. I know it’s not a big deal because I know I’m not alone. It’s just that I remember the days when I could pop, lock and drop it (remember that song?) in stilettos for hours at a time. If I have to be a certain level of drunk to to that now. And I can’t wear heels for 2 to 5 days after such an ordeal.

These days, when I go out and those heels start rubbing my corn, it’s game over for me and I want to go home. How many hours I took to get ready (and the fact that I may have only been there for three hours) is irrelevant to me. Let’s go.

The last two pairs of heels I’ve bought all have chunky heels, and these are no different.

I got these a few months ago, so they’re sold out, but these are cute as well. And so are these. In a world full of stilettos, be a chunky heel.

Can You Really Have Too Many Shoes?

New In | Socialite Heels | kyssmystyle.com | Brittany Kyss

I’d like to introduce y’all to the latest additions to my shoe wardrobe!

As if I really need more shoes. Sigh. Listen, my excuse is that I own a women’s apparel store in The Bahamas. I have to advertise the product.

If you look closely at the photos of the shoes, you’ll see that while they are very similar, they two shoes are by different brands. The purple shoe, which is by Liliana, features a slightly higher heel that the nude pair, which is by Shoe Republic LA. These shoes are actually from my store, but the Liliana shoe can be found on gojane.com in purple and nude.

What I love most about these shoes are the muti-straps which ooze sexyness. I can’t wait to show you how I style them in upcoming outfit of the day posts!

Real Vs. Steal | Jimmy Choo Anouk Look-a-Likes | kyssmystyle.com

I’m in love.

I’ve always thought that a nude pair of shoes is a closet essential, but I’ve never been one to appreciate the color nude. However, I recently purchased these shoes from gojane.com and they’re fast becoming one of my favorite pair of shoes. They’ve even inspired me to get my nails painted a similar color.

What I love most about these shoes is how sleek they look. They resemble the popular designer pumps, such as the Jimmy Choo Anouk, and the Christian Louboutin Pigalle, and So Kate. It’s hard to find shoes like these under $50. Either the heel is too low, the arch is not high enough, or the vamp comes up too high.  Hence, as your stylist, I highly recommend you purchase these shoes in every damn color. These are a steal.

I would’ve gotten the black as well, but I already have a pair of black pumps. I plan on purchasing the coral, and the hot pink. Gojane.com has restocked these shoes at least three times now, which means they are a hot seller. If you want them, don’t hesitate.

Real Vs Steal | Aldo Ralevia Sandal Look a Like

posted on: June 6, 2015

Real Vs Steal | Aldo Ralevia Sandal | kyssmystyle.com

Come through savings!

Last year, I wrote a blog post which featured the Aldo Ralevia heels. I loved the shoes so much that I purchased them in gold. They are my favorite gold heels and I wear them all the time with my rose gold clutch, as you can see in the last photo.

They’re just about sold out now in all colors except for the color bone on heels.com for $80. However, your girl found a look-a-like for less than half the price on urbanog.com.

There are three main differences between the Aldo shoes, which you can see in the photos below and the look-a-likes:

  • The Aldo shoes are more rose gold than gold, like the look-a-likes are,
  • The Aldo shoes feature a 5 inch heel, whereas the look-a-likes feature a 4.25 inch heel, and
  • The Aldo shoes appear to be made of a more expensive material than that of the look-a-likes.

Other than that, as far as dupes go, these are beautiful, and if I didn’t have the Aldos, I would have bought these in a second.
